Being obese can increase the risk of cancer, because several types of cancer are being linked with being obese and overweight. Both, obese women and man are in danger, because the risk of having prostate, colorectal, ovary, breast or colon cancer is increased.

The risk of gallstones and gallbladder diseases increase as the body weight increases, on the other hand, quick and drastic weight loss can also increase the development of these health risks.
